Seoul Chaser: A Classic Sipping Broth for Any Occasion

A subtly complex, savory broth paired with your choice of toppings, this "hug in a mug" has personalized flavor and unmatched nutrition.

Makes one 8-oz beverage

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of Heart & Seoul Food Co. grass-fed beef broth or pasture-raised pork broth
  • sea salt (to taste; start with 1/4 tsp and adjust pinch by pinch)
  • Optional toppings:
    • 1 tsp sliced scallions
    • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
    • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
    • pinch of gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
    • use any combination of the above, or experiment with your own!

Method:

  1. Warm the bone broth to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, add sea salt to a mug.
  3. Prepare and add optional toppings to the same mug.
  4. Pour simmering broth into the mug. Stir, add additional salt to taste, and savor.
